A few years ago I did a reading at a private residence with two couples. It was with two brothers and their wives. The couples were probably married at least 25 to 30 years, so they had a very long history together. One of the sisters had set up the reading and was very excited.
When I arrived at the home the hostess warmly greeted me, offered me a drink and made introductions. One of the brothers seemed a bit skeptical or just a quiet guy. I remember bringing up things from the men's childhood and stories of their mom. The wives were reminded of gifts she had given them and events they attended. Other family members and stories came up and there was lots of laughing, a little crying, and some surprises. The session was probably about and hour and a half in when the quiet brother, arms crossed, sat there not really participating, said "I have a question."
This immediately felt like a test.
I was ready. He continued with a slightly annoyed smirk, "who was Mom's favorite daughter?"
I was a bit surprised but learned that when I'm asked questions even if I don't understand the question, the answer is ALWAYS the first thing in my brain. So I blurt out the letter "D".
This might not seem like much but I'm rarely the psychic medium that comes up with an actual name or letters. But they erupted into laughter! I sat there surprised and a bit delighted because this obviously meant something to them!
They explained to me that there is no daughters, but Mom always said that "D" was her favorite daughter. "D" was the nickname of the quiet skeptic that asked the question!!!
If you want a quick way to get in touch with your intuition always go with the very first thing that pops into your mind. Try flipping a coin and go with your very first thought. Whatever comes in less than a second.
Try it, let me know how you did!
